The Apple TV original production, which was recently described as 'high-action, genre-bending' romance, is filming in the capital with use of Warner Bros. Hollywood rising stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller are both filming in London this month too! They lead the cast of The Gorge a new film from Scott Derrickson ( Doctor Strange, 2018) set in a corrupt and violent world where the lead characters haphazardly fall in love. The new season of the show is filming on location this March in London having previously filmed throughout the capital in areas ranging from Finsbury Park and Clapham to Southall and Shoreditch. Martin Freeman and Daisy Haggard return to the hit comedy series to star as married couple Paul and Ally who, faced with seemingly insurmountable challenges of parenthood and working life, still find a way to grow as individuals in a modern family. Season 4 of Breeders is also being filmed in the capital this month for Sky and FX. Recently, Lockwood and Co was released on Netflix having filmed at Kensal Green Cemetery, the perfect location for a ghostly thriller, as well as at Twickenham Film Studios and Ealing Studios. The capital is no stranger to playing host to ghost stories on screen.
We can't wait to see the classic Ecto-1 hit the streets of London in this new film.
Next up is a new untitled Ghostbusters sequel with the original cast returning to film in London! With Ghostbusters legends Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd joining the production, the iconic franchise is coming to the capital with the film's plot expected to continue on from 2021's Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Kate Winslet's new limited series The Palace is filming scenes in London this March too! Tracing the collapse of a modern yet authoritarian European regime, Winslet stars alongside Hugh Grant and Andrea Riseborough in the new series from HBO. Set amongst the upper classes of 19th century London society, the first season filmed at many high class locations such as Hampton Court and Syon House in West London. The new 8-part drama series started filming in London this past month and takes place 25 years after the original season of Belgravia. Kicking off our production list this month is Belgravia: The Next Chapterįrom Downton Abbey creator and Oscar-winner Julian Fellowes.
